Fatmir lives with his parents, grandmother, and four siblings in a three-room, unfinished house on their great grandfather’s property. For many years, the family was renting and needed to find a better living situation. Their great grandfather asked all of his children to pitch in to help build Fatmir’s family a small home. However, only the bathroom has been completed. There are no doors or windows on the home to keep out the weather.
Fatmir’s mother stays home to care for the family and his father tries hard to find work as an automobile painter. The family is in great financial need especially during the winter months when they must find another place to live.
Fatmir’s sister, Laura, is also in the Cornerstone program.
As a child sponsor, you’re providing things like nutritious meals, safe drinking water, education, health care, and spiritual instruction. Beyond meeting their critical needs, you’re building a priceless personal relationship with your child, helping them discover their true worth and God-given potential.
Choose a boy or girl to sponsor with an ongoing commitment of at least $38 a month.
You’ll receive a sponsor kit which includes your child’s profile and photo. You’ll also receive quarterly updates on your impact and letters from your child!
You can build a relationship with your child by sending photos, emails, letters and cards. You can even visit your child if you go on a short-term mission trip with a group!
