Peter lives with his parents and little brother in a one-room house with only one bed. They fetch water from a borehole and the bathroom facility is in poor condition. Both of his parents are casual laborers and struggle to find odd jobs to provide for their children. Paying the fees to have Peter enrolled in school has been a challenge.
Peter is in good health but he and his brother were both born with an eye condition that has yet to be diagnosed since they lack the money to see a doctor.
