2023 Annual Report

Our 40 Year Journey

The Forward Edge Family has a rich 40+ year history that shapes our expertise in cross-cultural development and allows us to offer impactful mission opportunities. Our 2023 Annual Report showcases program updates, our new mission and vision, and our journey with God in helping children embrace the future He has planned for them.

We are deeply grateful for your support and faithfulness. Together, we will continue to serve vulnerable children and their families with His love.

Welcome to the Family

Hi, we’re Forward Edge. We believe every child in the world was created with great worth and purpose—and we feel the same about you. We lovingly refer to ourselves as the Forward Edge Family because we truly are a family. Together, we navigate the highs and lows that come with ministry and life. We love each other, pray for each other, tackle challenges together, and follow Jesus side by side. We believe God brought you here for a reason, so welcome. We’re glad you’re here and would love for you to join us on this journey.

Our Unique Edge

Discover the three distinct approaches that drive our mission forward.
Rooted in our values and shaped by our journey, these methods are the heartbeat of our work.

Pearl Partners

At the heart of our mission are local leaders who truly understand their communities. Our Pearl Partners are visionary Christian leaders who drive change from within, guided by trust and cultural insight.

Mission Teams

Our God is relational, and so are we. We connect U.S. churches and schools with communities in need, building powerful, in-person partnerships. These mission teams create lasting change while embodying our core values of listening, faith in action, and empowerment.

Child Sponsorship

Child Sponsorship goes beyond support—it's about making poverty personal and honoring dignity. By turning statistics into real stories, it fosters genuine relationships and meaningful impact.

Jesus at the Heart of our Mission

At Forward Edge, Jesus guides every step of our mission to uplift vulnerable communities. We align our efforts with God’s plans through humble prayer. We listen to God because we want to join His plans, not ask Him to join ours. Join our Global Prayer Team and be part of a powerful movement that supports our mission through prayer and brings hope where it’s needed most.
