A cold glass of water on a hot and sweaty day — does anything taste better? For the children in the areas we serve, that glass of water has the taste of mud and invisible dangers of water-borne illness. None of us want to see children suffer so we must make a difference.
In Tamale, Ghana that difference comes in the form of water trucks bringing safe, clean drinking water – along with hope and joy.
For your gift of $25, you can provide safe, clean drinking water to 8 families for a month. Will you join us? Together we can bring a refreshing drink of hope and health.

Forward Edge provides Christ-centered, holistic care to thousands of children trapped in poverty in some of the poorest places in the world. These children aren’t ‘falling through the cracks’ of social programs – there isn’t a safety net, so they are falling into the chasm of poverty that leads to a generational cycle of poverty and hopelessness.
But together we can change that story – we can provide nutritious meals, quality education, safe water, spiritual guidance, and loving community to these children and their families. These Forward Edge programs are led by local pastors and leaders who have been sacrificially loving their communities for years. And it takes so little to do so much in these countries….
Water-borne illness is one of the leading killers of children trapped in poverty worldwide. This issue is common in Tamale Ghana and other programs where our program teams are working to help the community transform. The children and their families struggle to have their basic needs of food, shelter and water met — hope is hard to find.
During the dry season, women and girls in our program walk miles a day to get water but it can bring death instead of life.
